UnGoogleable Research Paper Final Draft

When an athlete is really good at a sport that’s all they think about . what they aren't thinking about Is if the career is good for them. When it comes to sports some people think diffrent things. kids play sports when they are younger from football to water polo, because their parents want them to be an active child. when kids get to the age where they start to notice that playing sport is what they like they might see it being a goal. Other kids might think that they are not good at sports and might just focus on school. playing sports can be a successful career because people can have things like fame, money, and can accomplish their goals, but sports can also be a unsuccessful career because people can get really hurt and wont be able to do anything that involves their legs.

Playing sports can be a successful career, according to New York times writer Rodney after an athlete retires after having a good career they try and spend some time playing the sport they use to play because they love the game so much. according to Josh from sports success "Ever since I was little I thought about the sport a lot so I set a goal and accomplished it." Michael Jordan said "after retiring my life has gone good I have fans, fame, and I changed the game. what else can I ask for?"  Those are some reasons why playing sports can be a successful career.

Playing sports can be an unsuccessful career because in contact sports like football peoples careers can end in just on play from a little stinger to a devistating hit. Pro wide receiver Isaac Bruce said " when I was going up for the winning catch I thought we are going to win and then my lights went out .” Careers can be ended or crushed by hard hits. Another reason playing sports is an unsuccessful career according to an article in Sports illustrated is because when an athlete retires it’s hard for them to go out into public without getting bombarded by a group of reporters. playing sports can be an unsuccessful career because an athlete loses not only the sport but they also lose teammates, and coaches. Those are some reasons why playing sports can be an unsuccessful career.

When it comes to sports as a career some people think it’s a good career but not everybody thinks the same. There are people that think it’s a bad career because of the past. Some athletes said that “In this game injuries are bound to happen because it’s a contact sport. some hits can be a career ender, or some hits might sting a little bit and end up on channel five. Athletes train almost daily on perfecting skills and techniques required for their particular sport. Some skills such as team-work can be used in new areas, and there is likely to be new resources and skills required for thoses new jobs. Those are some reasons why sports careers can be a good and bad thing.

Playing sports as a career can be good and bad. It's good because people had fame, fans, and accomplished a goal. But it's also bad because people’s careers ended from one injury. So that is why playing sports as a career can be a good and bad. When the word sport comes to peoples mind people think different. Some people think that it can be good because it’s a high paying job, and most of all it can be a life accomplishing goal. And other people think that it’s just a bad idea because of the career ending injuries, or the hassle it can give to retired players. When playing sports as a career people might think it can be a good career because it gives people reputation, and they can help other communities with foundations or fundraisers. And some people think its bad because people can get hurt, retirement can also be bad for players that love for the game, and some also lose people that are close to them like their coach. playing sports can be a successful career if people are up to accomplishing and succeeding a goal.

Portfolio - Future

I feel good about my future. One of my biggest goals in the future is to go to Cal State Los Angles for all four years to play basketball and football. Before playing any sports I’m going to make sure that I’m going to stay eligible to play for all four years. My career plan is to be drafted to play professional football or basketball if not that then major in sports medicine. I chose to major in sports medicine because I have been playing sports for a long time and I know what to do if you are injured like with a sprained ankle or elbow or even if you have a back or rib injury. I have to work on keeping my grades up and paying attention to my teachers because they could really help me. Some people that will help me on achieving these are my science teacher, my math teacher , and my English teacher I chosen these teachers because I think these are some of the teachers that believe I can achieve these goals if I really reach for it. I believe I will achieve this goal because I can get really far if I work to my full potential in every class and subject from here to college.

Portfolio – Greatest High School Accomplishment - 9th

The incident happened in geometry my fifth period class. In geometry I really didn’t like doing my work because I thought it was kind of hard so I just pushed the homework aside and worked on something else. But sooner or later I noticed that I wasn’t passing the class because I never turned in the homework and it was really close for grades to come out so I had to do something fast about my grade. So the next day I went straight to my geometry teacher and asked if there is anything I could do to bring my grade up before grades go out and he said yes and gave me some make up work to do. So when I got the make up sheets I went straight to work and the next day I turned in all the worksheets that he gave me and told me that I grade went from a F to  a C  and I was super happy. The incident changed me because I use to think geometry is hard but the problem was me. I wasn’t working to my full potential.

The incident happened in the end of second quarter during Ms. Priesters English 9 class. It was the end of the second quarter and Ms. Priesters English 9 class was assigned a project telling everybody what we learned in the second quarter and was due in a week. So I thought to myself that I had a lot of time so I didn’t do it all I did was sit around and procrastinate. But after four or five days I started thinking about getting started so that’s what I did but I needed more time but I didn’t want to ask Ms. Priester because it was my fault for not working on it while I had time so I worked on it when I had extra  time in class and also at night so I could get a good graade on it. So finally when I was finished it was the night before it was due so I turned it in and went to sleep not worrying about my project because I got it done. The incident changed me because I stopped taking my time on some projects and I take my time to work on it instead of waiting till the last second to turn it in.

Romeo and Juliet - Day 6 - Wrap Up Paragraph

The people that are responsible for Romeo and Juliet’s death are Friar Lawrence and the kid that told Romeo that Juliet was dead.  One reason Friar Lawrence is responsible for Romeos death is because when he saw Romeo go to Juliet he could have told him that she was just in a comma and she is not really dead. Another  reason the kid that was suppose to tell Romeo that Juliet was still alive didn’t tell him that the plan was to put Juliet in a comma so they could see each other again and then they could leave but he told Romeo that she was really dead. One last reason why both of them are responsible for their death is because they both could have told Romeo that Juliet would wake up in five minutes so he wouldn’t kill himself but they didn’t so there for Romeo killed himself and Juliet followed him and killed herself. This topic is important because Romeo and Juliet is one of the worlds greats love and romance plays .

Romeo and Juliet - Acts 4-5 - Cause of Deaths

Romeo and Juliet both die do to human mistakes. When Juliet died the first time everyone thought she really died but she was just in a comma so she could be with Romeo when she wakes up but all she did was have Romeo kill him. Another example is when Romeo died from a human mistake because he didn’t receive the letter that told him that Juliet was in a comma so he automatically thought she was dead so he drank a vile of poison and died. Another example is when Juliet woke up from her comma she found Romeo dead on the floor and she tried to take some poison that she thought was on his lips but there wasn’t any so instead she stabbed herself with Romeos knife. The story relates to real life because some people can be really in love with someone that they will do whatever it takes to be with that person no matter what anybody says or does.

Romeo and Juliet - Act 3 - Rage

The negative consequences of rage is family members can get furious with each other, people can get really hurt or killed, and some people can be held with serious charges if they let their rage get to them.  One example of rage is when Juliet’s dad got furious with her when she told him that she wasn’t going to marry Paris.  Another reason is when Romeo was fighting tibblet because he killed marcusho and tibblet ended up getting killed. And another reason is after Romeo killed tibblet he went into hiding and the prince told everybody that if he was to be seen he was to be charged with murder. This story is related to now because people get hurt because of gangs, and when a person kills someone they run away so they won’t get caught but then they get charged with murder.
