Response to Priester's Syllabus

I feel very excited about English 10 because last year I learned a lot of stuff I didn’t know before so I am kind of curious about what we might learn this year. The class work says we’re going to be doing sounds like its going to be difficult. An other thing I saw on the syllabus was the class room expectations; I know I am capable of follow the expectations because I barely had any problems in last years class. I know I can do a better job when I read the list because it motivates me to do a good job on my work. I hope I can maintain above a 2. GPA this year, but I have to work even harder then I did last year because I am on the football team and I was to play all the years I’m here.

Dragons Den: Colors

A color that represents me is red because I have a lot of anger and to me red is a color that stands for anger. I am similar to this color because there are different shades of red and like me there are times where I could be calm but I can also reach the point where I get really mad. This color represents all my anger and frustration that built up all these years. This color is symbolic of all my anger because ever since my big brother and I were little kids we always had anger problems but since we’ve grown up we learned how to control our anger a little bit but there are certain things that could get us mad. If you are around me a lot, you will see this color in me because there are those people that know that I get mad easy and they try and test me but since I learned how to control my anger I just let it go, but if it’s something personal or unnecessary then I might get really upset.

Plot: Movie Plot Summary Paragraph

In the movie the “Gridiron Gang” the setting takes place in Kilpatrick juvenile detention center in Long Beach California. Some character that play in this movie some characters are (Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson) as Sean Porter the head coach, Jade Yorker as (Willie Parker) the star running back , and James Earl as (Donald Madlock) as star tight end. The conflict in the movie is some of the supervisor and Sean Porter see the lack of discipline, self-esteem in some of the teenage so they try and prepare a football team so they could try and play in one league with other private schools that are willing to play against them. But at first the idea wasn’t going the way the coach wanted it to because some of the private schools didn’t want to play them because they were a bunch of criminals and felons. But they convinced some of the teams to change their mind, and they did. At first the team was losing all their games because they were playing as individuals instead of a team but later on in the season they started becoming a team, and a family and then they started winning. Next thing they new they were in the championship game. Later I noticed that the team was changing their lives. At the climax of the action all their hard work paid off by helping them win the championship game. At the conclusion of the movie most of the kids on the football team either got out of games and got jobs, or went back to their games and ended up in jail.

First Day of School Paragraph 2011

When I woke up for the first day of my second year of school at San Pasqual Academy I took a shower and went to the cafĂ© to eat breakfast before starting class. Then I heard the bell ring so I threw away all my trash, put my backpack on and was off to my first class which is Algebra 1.  Later on in the day I went to my ASB class which was on the other side of campus in the tech center, and when I got there I got to meet the new teach his name was Mr. Kruger and he teaches ASB, World history, and Geography. Towards the end of the day I was getting excited because the first day of school was going to end and I finished the day strong and paid attention to the rules the teacher had for their class. At the end of the day I went home from dance class and I got ready for two and a half hours off football practice.
