Campus Life Third-Person Paragraph

What some people do when they get ready for school here is they will wake up early in the morning so they can have enough time to get ready and when they are done they would spend the rest of their time either watching TV or eating breakfast before they have to go to school. Now when dinner hour comes around all the kids must be in the house from five thirty to six thirty and have to sit at the table for at least ten minutes before they can do something else. When lunch time comes around lunch is always in the cafĂ©. The way lunchtime works is people have to wait in a line, get a tray and some eating utensils, along with some milk. After that people will move on and then people get to where the food is, and at the front of the line people will serve the food. And there is lunch.  So that is what we do here at SPA.

CST Testing Reflection

On the first day of testing I woke up and I said to myself well only half an hour before I have to take the test. So when I got to school I went to the class where me and some other students were going to take the test. As I waited for the rest of the kids to show up I was talking to the teacher about what his major was in college. So a few minutes into our conversation two students showed up and said the other student was on the way. While we waited for two minutes we were just sitting around. I was feeling kind of nervous because I didnt want to mess up on the test. After a minute the student came through the door and sat down in her seat and asked what we are doing and the teacher told her that we are going to eat breakfast then we are going to start the test. On that day we had a burrito, juice, peanut butter bars, and milk. So after we were all done eating breakfast we were given the test book along with the answer sheet and pencil. While the teacher was reading the directions to us I was thinking to myself wow the time has come for the big test.So after listening to the teacher he told us that we can begin on our test so I opened and started to work. So after working for what it seemed like ten hours I was finally done with the whole test and turned it in. I could only think what if I did something wrong or what if I forgot to answer a question? but I did not let it bother me and sat back down until we could go to lunch. So that was my testing experience.

Testing Tips, Strategies, and Plays Reflection

Knowing some tips and strategies can be a helpful thing to people when it comes to test taking. Some tips people can use are highlighting important things in the passage, and cross out some answers that don’t make sense. Using these tips can help people because if you highlight some important facts then you already know what you are looking for instead of going through the whole passage again. Also some strategies people can use are budget the time, and go back and make sure you answered all the questions with the correct answers. Using these strategies are important because if you don’t go back and make sure you answered all the questions you could have skipped a question and end up getting that one wrong and have a bad grade for one little mistake. So that is why it’s important to know some tips and strategies for test taking.

My Feelings about the Upcoming CSTs

One word I would use to describe how I would feel about testing is apprehensive. When it comes to testing I am always nervous or a little bit scared because I might fail and get a bad grade.  I’m always apprehensive when it comes to state testing because I always have a bad feeling that I might fail every test and I will have to repeat the grade I’m in. Another reason I chose the word apprehensive because what if I do fail the test that mean I wont be able to graduate on time because I failed the state test.  Right now I feel nervous because this is the biggest test of the school year and if I fail this test I will have to take the ninth grade all over again and I won’t graduate high school on time. So that is how I feel about California standards test.

My UnGoogleable Research for an Eight-Year Old

Playing sports can be a good and bad career depending on the sport the athlete played. Some reasons playing sports can be a good career are, if the athlete is really good at the sport he can be one of the best players in the game and have lots of fame and fans. Another reason is if the athlete’s dream was to become a professional in the game then he accomplished his goal because they got to play in the sport. But also the sport can be an unsuccessful career because when you play some sports some injuries are bound to happen and a bad enough injury can end you career forever. Another reason sports can be an unsuccessful career is because once a athlete retires from a sport it can be hard for them to find something else to entertain them. Its important to know this information because if a person wants to play sports then they should think ahead of time and ask them “Is this sport the one I really want to play?” or “is this sport going to help me in the future or am I going to end up in the hospital?”

Free Choice Blog Post

When I was in the fifth grade me and my friend we in the school playground talking about how we cant wait for the fourth of July because it was only a couple of days away and we couldn’t wait to light some fireworks. When I mentioned the word firework he looked at me with a huge but conspicuous smile on his face. So when I saw him put that look on his face I knew he was up to something and I knew he wanted me to help him with whatever he was going to do. So I asked him what was his plan, and his plan was thirty minutes before the bell rings we will go on the football field and put a bunch of cherry bombs in a water bottle and throw it in the air so it will explode in mid air. So while waiting for time to go by we were trying to find a water bottle to use and finally we found one in the bushes near the track fence. By the time we found the water bottle the yard duty blew the whistle and said there is half an hour left before school started so me and my friend went to the far side of the track and started to pack the water bottle with cherry bombs. When the bottle was finally full with cherry bombs he asked if I was ready to witness an explosion and I said sure. He took out a lighter and counted down from three all the way to one and when he got to one he light the fire works sealed the water bottle and threw it high in the air and ran to stand next to me. As the bottle was in the air my friend and I were waiting for an explosion and then all of a sudden there was a loud bang that sounded like a gun shot. When we heard that we both got super scared and ran to the swing set where we sat down and never spoke of the situation again.

UnGoogleable Research Paper Highlight Reflection

Reading and highlighting the sources for my UnGoogleable research paper helped me find information for my paper because I can use some helpful advice that I didn’t before. I learned that playing can be a disaster for some athletes after retirement because it’s hard for them to do something different or lose the fame they got from their sports career. I can break my information into three sections. One section is about how is it difficult for athletes to have a successful career. Another section is how playing sports is a good career. The third section is how playing sports is not a good but not a bad career. My next step to write a research paper should be gathering all my information and putting it all together so I can start my paper

Third Quarter Awards Review

On Friday there was an awards assembly for kids that get awards for doing something good in the quarter. The assembly took place in the auditorium with the whole school attending it. When I entered the auditorium all I could hear was loud voices of all the kids in the school and all the teachers trying to get their classes seated and I didn’t know where to sit. I thought to my self “wow this place is packed where should I sit?” so finally I found a spot and sat down waiting for everybody to sit down so we can start the assembly. I was feeling anxious about the assembly because I was wondering if I was going to get an award. So after a minute or two everyone was seated and we started the assembly after we sang the pledge of allegiants. I felt like it was kind of useless to sit down because I had to stand right back up for the song.  So during the assembly I was thinking wow all these kids are getting awards and sooner or later my name is going to get called so I can go up there and get an award for myself. So I was clapping for everybody that was getting an award and then my name was called but I didn’t get an award I was called up there for being in Key Club. So for the next assembly I thought they can do like a raffle before the assembly so kids can get settled in and then do the pledge of allegiants because it will be easier then having the kids come in and have them sit down , then get them back up for a song.

UnGoogleable Research – What I Already Know

My focus question is Is playing sports a successful career?I already know from a hand full of people that playing sports can be a successful career if you are playing the right sport. Because if you are playing the sport you’ve been playing for a long time then you already got the skill and the rules to play the game better then a person that doesnt know how to play. Because basketball is a career that takes a lot of skill and teamwork to play and most of all you need to know the rules. I also know that playing sports can be a career crasher and a dream killer because of the injuries that occur late in the season or later in their career. These injuries happen on the field because on every play there is someone on both teams looking to hit someone, and most likely when they hit the person they are looking for they might end their career or give them a concussion because that’s what the game is football is a contact sport.. Additionally there are a lot of athletes that say they loved playing sports for a career but then again there are a handful of athletes that say playing sports ended their career because of injuries. By doing research, I hope to learn some interesting facts about why playing sports is a successful career and why it’s not.

UnGoogleable Research Paper – Website Evaluation Tips

http://www.sportsnetworker.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/sea.jpgThe topic for my paper is “Is playing sports a successful career?" I chose this topic because there are many athletes in the world that say they love playing sports because it’s their passion and then there are retired athletes that say playing sports is the worst thing because they were injured and can’t play sports again. I interviewed John English my house parent. And he said “playing sports is a successful career if you are playing a sport that has fewer injuries.”  Another person I interviewed was Alyssa and she said “playing sport can be a successful career if you know how to play the game and if you know the rules. Because if you don’t know how to play or if you don’t know the rules then you better learn them and fast because you might get cut from the team, or you might get fired. I interviewed josh Raccet and he said “Of course playing sports can be a successful career depending on the sports you’re playing. If you are playing a contact sport like football then you better watch out because there are people on the other team looking to hit someone hard and put them out, but if you are playing a non contact sport it better because you can have a longer career and fewer injuries to worry about. This advise will help me because I got a lot of different information about my topic from other peoples opinion.

Fourth Quarter Kickoff Reflection

My day fun and alright in the begging of the day I participated in a scavenger hunt with all the freshmen. When we were done with the scavenger hunt my team had to bring a box of Check cereal to a classroom where all the freshmen meet up with other ingredients to make something called Monkey Bumps. After making monkey bumps we went to another classroom to make monkeys so we can hang them up in the class. And when we were done making monkeys we got to go to lunch. After eating lunch the whole school had to split up into six teams and I was sent to playing waffle ball. It was pretty fun because we won then after that we went to the field and did relay races and we won that game also. After that we went to the gym and played capture the flag which I sort of liked because I got to run and let out all my energy but the part I didn’t like was when me and another student went to grab the other teams flag and my brother slid in so he can try and kick the ball to one of us and me and the other student collided and bumped heads. But after all that happened I had fun .
