The experience I used in my poem was losing our football game. The experience changed me because our team could’ve gone undefeated if we won. Before the experience happened I was supper happy that we were going to win because we were going to be undefeated but now when I play a football game and it is very close I start to get nervous and start to think about what might happen next. Another example Is when I saw our running back get hit it made me think twice about running on the field during a live play without knowing where defensive players are at. From the experience I learned that in football game there is going to be a lot of losing and a lot of winning and that there is always a winner and a loser.

Inspirational Rhyming Poem
The quarterback would pass it around
The corner went up, and got mossed.
The wide receiver said I’m the boss.
The ball was at the one yard line.
The running back thought he would be fine.
The ball was hiked and he started to run.
He didn’t see the line backer come.
He turned the corner but then he got cracked.
Turnover on downs and the ball went back.
So long game the team was whack.
They said next time they will be back.

Memorable Valentine's Day
One of my Valentine’s Day memories was when I was in the fourth grade and everybody in my class had to bring in a Valentine’s Day gift for the whole class. So the day before valentines I asked my mom if she can take me to go get my whole class a gift, so when we were at the store we were walking down the candy section and my mom pulled out a random bag of candy and threw it in the cart and walked to the cash register. When we got home I helped my mom carry the groceries into our house, anxious to see what kind of candy my mom picked out I started digging through the bags as soon as I found the bag of candy it was a bag full of Care Bear gummy candies. So the next day I had to go to school with a bag of care bears to give my whole class which everybody in my class was giving out heart shaped suckers and nerds . so that is one of my valentine’s day memories

"Fog, Fire and Ice" Paragraph
The animal in the poem “Fog” is a cat. I think the author chose this animal because fog creeps up on people like a cat does. I would have chosen this animal because the fog creeps up on people because it comes in the morning and a little cat sneaks up on their owner in the morning to wake them up or when they want to play. I would choose a cat even thought the narrator used one already. I would choose a cat because cats are very sneaky and they can pop out of nowhere and surprise you or their owner.
The world is going to end in fire. The world is going to end in fire because when I used to read the bible it would say that god will burn the world but save all the people that have been good and never committed a sin and if the world would end in ice it would have said it in the bible.. I think nothing is going to happen. If the world will come to an end it would most likely happen in 2012. When the world comes to an end I will be either in the NBA or NFL dunking on people or scoring touchdowns.

"Country Scene" Paragraph
His feelings are that he can love someone but it never lasts and when it comes to poetry it lasts forever. He takes poetry as something he loves until he moves on. He is trying to tell me that the mood in the "Country Scene “is very foggy and has a bunch of details not just the falling water. The mood set is for the reader to think that the end is something to think about. Based on the narrator, he is trying to show the real meaning of the title, trying to figure out why love can’t always last but poetry can

“A Blessing” Break into Blossom Paragraph
One time when I felt like I was going to break into a blossom was when I hear I was going to have a little brother and little sister. When I hear I was going to have younger siblings I was six years old and I was living in Los Angeles with my dad. I was sitting down in the living room on the couch eating a bowl of cereal and watching cartoons when my dad came into the house after answering the phone and told my older brother and me that we are going to have a little brother and sister. I saw my dad with the phone in his hand with a big smile on his face and my brother happy and smiling with my dad. I heard my dad and brother talking about what we are going to name our brother and sister. I was touching my cereal bowl and my TV remote. I felt happy because I have four older siblings and now I have two younger siblings. The experience changed me because I was use to being the youngest and now that I have younger siblings I can play and have fun with them like my older brothers and sisters did with me

Paragraph to Persuade You to Read My Poem
The name of my poems are “The American Hero, and "The Base Stealer”. The author of “The American Hero” is Essex Hemphill and the author of “The Base Stealer” is Robert Francis. Someone should read my poem because both poems are about taking risks and sacrifices. One reason someone should read this poem because in life there are always losers and not everybody wins. In “The Base Stealer” the character takes the risk of stealing home plate to win the game for his team. Some people might not want to read this poem because they are too cocky and nobody is better then them. But that’s why they should read these poems because they should know that in life some people will win some and some people will lose some. The best part of the Poems are the ending because in both poems the character ends up taking a risk or sacrifice and ends up winning the game for their team.
"Fire And Ice"
In the poem “Fire and Ice” by Robert Frost the imagery creates a confusing but also wondering sensation to what might happen to the world in the future. In the poem it said, “ Some say the world will end in fire and some say in ice.” This part is supposed to make you think if the world will end in fire or ice. This since apples to seeing what might happen in the future. In this part the image that it creates is a big fireball split in half by ice. I think imagery is good for this poem because the readers have to think what might happen in the future if the world will end in fire or ice.
