Dragons' Den First Semester Week 5: Life Lesson

A life lesson I learned the hard way is what comes around goes around but twice as worse. I used to think smacking my little cousins and brother in the back of their heads every time we played tag would be funny so I would smack them super hard and then I would laugh at them.  Then one day when we were playing I was looking for my cousin because he was it all of a sudden I felt a really hard thump on the back of my head and I fell to the floor grabbing my head and it turns out my little cousin grabbed a dictionary that was on the shelf and smacked my in the head with it as hard as he could and laughed at me. Now I know every time I do something to someone be careful because it might happen to me but worse.

Dragons den power outage

On Thursday evening, I was out front watching the football team practice when suddenly someone told me that the volleyball team was playing in the gym without lights. In response I said why and I was then told that the power was shut off. Then I went to the gym because I had to work in the snack bar and saw that they were really playing in the dark. Later on I went home and was told that there is something going on in the café because the lights went out. When the power came back on, I woke up because before I went to sleep I turned my light switch on but forgot the power was out so while I was asleep the lights turned on and woke me up

“The Pedestrian” Before You Read: Life in 2053

In 2053 life in America might be awesome because by then they might have flying cars and new sports some people will never know. In 2053 people are looking forward to flying cars because in some of the movies like “Robo Cop” they have flying cars and robots as cops so that is why they might be looking forward to flying cars. And America might have new sports because we have football now but imagine football in 53 year what it would be like. The players with high tech gear and cleats, playing in a stadium that fits one billion people in it that would be exciting to attend and see how the game transformed.

“The Contents of the Dead Man’s Pocket” Minute Paragraph

I was getting warmed up for my first high school football game against Cali patria hornets. I saw the fans that were coming to support our team and I saw some other fans sitting in the stands with posters for the players. I also saw the other team warming up on the other side of the field just like we were, but some of their players were talking to their coach and some were just stretching individually. During that time I was thinking about what I will do if I drop and easy pass or if I fumble the ball when we need the first down really bad. I was also thinking what will happen if I got injured because that was my biggest fear me getting injured in a game and not being able to play for the whole season.

Dragons' Den First Semester Week 2: Shoes

My favorite shoe brand has to be a tie between Nikes and Jordan’s. The reason it’s a tie is because Nikes have shoes that look good for going out to the movies or a special dinner and they also have shoes that look good for playing basketball or any indoor sports. But Jordan’s are the same because they have shoes that are good for dinners, going on dates and for playing basketball also. But those aren’t the only reason I like those shoes I like them because their shoe designs are nice and unique that’s what makes me like their shoes. Nikes have the check mark and they make it look good on any shoe with any color and Jordan’s have the Michael Jordan symbol on the side of their shoes and they also make it look good on all of their shoes with any color. So those are my favorite shoe brands.

“Contents of the Dead Man’s Pocket” My Yellow Paper Paragraph

The item I would risk my life for would be a picture of my dad and grandma. One reason why I would risk my life for the picture is because ever since I was a little kid my dad and grandma were the two people that raised me because my mom left the day after I was born. Another reason is because they both passed away when I was seven years old and now that is the only thing I have to remember them. One last reason I would risk my life is because I think anyone would risk their lives for a picture with their grandma and dad if it’s the only memory they had of them. I keep the picture in a safe place everyday and when I get back from going somewhere I look to make sure its there so that is how I keep my item safe.
